After retiring in 2024 and driving my 3 kids to and from 3 different high schools, they all turned 16 in May of 2026.  WELD was for sale and I saw the potential it had: where it was, the vibe it could have and the wonderful neighborhood it is located near.  Not wanting to drive my work-from-home wife crazy with all my free time, I proposed we buy the bar and both run it when she retires next year.  WELD opened in December of 2023;  barring small decor and pictures on the wall, it still looks like it did when it first opened.
